COLLABORATIONS

United States Environmental Protection Agency................. ECAB
In 1998 The Environmental Charaterization and Apportionment Branch had us build an experimental REA system. This system substantially distributed the REA functionality among several computers. The graphical user interface was supported under Windows while the real-time activity ran under MS-DOS for speed and reliability. It was the first system to use D-S-N techniques. Robert Arnts and his group use it today.

White Sands Missile Range..................................... www.WSMR.ARMY.mil
Some key D-S-N protocol was developed as part of an Army project administered by White Sands. We are grateful
for their support when developing D-S-N's addressing scheme and the ad hoc radio networking protocol.

National Center for Atmospheric Research.................. www.acd.ucar.edu
While at NCAR, Hampton identified many of the required instrument network characteristics.

US Army Corps of Engineers, Coastal and Hydraulic Laboratory............... FRF Home
In March of 2004 we took several pieces of equipment to the Corps' Field Research Facility near Kittyhawk, NC to uncover issues prior to the pending Antarctic trip. This is a good site for discovering the perils of salt water and the sea. photos were taken as part of that experiment. That trip continued on to the National Radio Astronomy Observatory ( NRAO) at Green Bank, WV.

Some of our clip art was supplied by Wilson.
