POLICY: USER, OEM, SYSTEM INTEGRATOR, DEALER, AGENTS & WARRANTY

  • System Users:
We sell SYSTEMS and COMPONENTS directly to users. Our agreement can be for one or many systems. We can supply standard systems, custom systems and components coupled with development help including design tools. The relationship is direct as is the warranty relationship. We do not sell through DEALERS but we do have Integrator/Agent and OEM relationships (see below).

  • Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs):
An OEM is our customer using our COMPONENTS in their product line. We sell directly to OEMs and have a written sales and support agreement with them. An OEM agreement covers a plurality of components over several years. OEMs support their sale to their customer (our help is available as part of the contract). Our warranty extends to the OEM (only indirectly to their customer). We offer both design and support help to OEMs.

  • System Integrators & Sales Agents:
We sell SYSTEMS through Systems Integrator/Sales Agents (both standard and custom systems selling components only for replacement). This is a multi-year relationship. Integrator/Agents are not dealers because they do not resell our product. Moreover, they add product integration value combining other related products with ours to form a larger package. Integrator/Agents are responsible for the after sales support for these other packaged products; we are responsible for our systems. Integrator/Agents arrange an introduction to the user and we develop the final sales terms for our products. In most cases, we invoice the user directly and pay a commission to the Integrator/Agent based on volume. The warranty relationship is with the user.

  • Warranty:
Hampton Technologies, Inc. (HTI) warrants its products to be free of manufacturing defects for five years after the sale. If an issue should arise, the customer may be obligated to ship the product back to the factory for assessment. If, in HTI's sole judgment, the product is defective, HTI will repair or replace the product and reimburse the shipping cost. If the product has been damaged by some kind of mistreatment, the customer and HTI will decide the appropriate solution together. This warranty does not include liability for consequential damages of any kind.
