AD HOC Radio Networking:

One of the features of HT-DOS is its ability to form a radio network and carry data with almost no prior configuration. Small radio equipped RTUs can be dropped from an aircraft; they organize to be able to relay information among the survivors and get data back to the desired destination. The group finds the path. Usually, there are multiple paths back to the destination -- so, the protocol also prevents swamping of radio bandwidth with redundant transmissions.
