Whole Air Segregator - 1000 ml/min:
-
Separates air sample into three directions using software control
-
Flow rate software adjustable from 30 to 1000 ml/min
-
Flow rate monitored
using temperature compensated Venturi type mass flow meter
-
Low contamination materials: Teflon, Stainless Steel, PPC
-
Standard Power: 10-30 VDC - Optional: 20-60 VDC - typically less than 10 Watts
-
Brushless DC pump motor - software controlled variable speed
-
Valve current is software controlled for positive state change while
reducing heat contamination
-
Sample switching rates: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 Hz - sets the minimum sample size
-
Inlet tubing sample propagation delay compensation 5 seconds to 1 ms resolution
-
Sample accumulation to more than 4 billion samples
-
Stainless Steel prefilter in sample path removes particles larger than
20 microns - the prefilter is also the bulkhead fitting
-
Prefilter is quickly replaced or resized and can be cleaned
-
3 meters of 1/8" Teflon sample input tubing included
-
Supplied with 3 stainless bulkhead output connectors to 1/4" Teflon tubing -
tubing is optional.
-
Supplied with a 5 meter power, control and data cable connecting segregator
back to SuperLogger/controller (optional 100 meter extensions available)
-
Aluminum case is water and dust tight
Notes:
1) Some of the electronics and tubing have been removed from the picture
so the valves, pump, flow meter, control board and wiring are clearly seen.
2) The sample flow comes in through the bulkhead were the prefilter is mounted
(next to red fitting just visible) into the brushless variable flow pump. From the
pump it goes to the temperature compensated Venturi flow meter. Next, the
flow is to the input of the manifold valve where it is segregated: one of
the three paths is software selected. Each output of the manifold valve
goes to the left bulkhead (through tubing and fittings removed for the
picture).
3) Segregators are extended purpose RTUs and, as such, they can include many
of the options available to our standard RTU.

Options:
|
-
Up to 14 high resolution analog inputs - 16 bits, 8x oversampling at 20 Hz -
reference voltage and ground noise are also sampled -
voltages are digitized and sent to a SuperLogger
-
Four low resolution analog inputs - 8 bits at 1 Hz - voltages are digitized
and sent to SuperLogger
|
|
-
Up to 3 RS-232/422 inputs used to connect colocated instruments - these data
are packetized and sent along to SuperLogger
-
As many as 8 remotely controlled output switches for activating local devices
-
Teflon tubing as required
